Our team

Antoine Zenie, co-founder and COO, graduated in chemical engineering from the University of Cambridge. Antoine is an innovator at heart with a passion for sustainability with nearly a decade of experience in startups (as a founder and operator), R&D, and low-carbon energy consulting. Antoine co-founded TreeWiFi in 2016 to measure urban air pollution. In 2017, he expanded his work with ULTRA IoT to provide environmental, mobility and operational data insights for clients in the UK and the Netherlands. In 2019, Antoine joined [theUp.co](http://theup.co/) as the Innovation Lead and subsequently became CPO. He led the development of several products from scratch, which were used by thousands of clients and millions of users in the UK and Europe. Under his leadership, the business went from the ground up to Series A and acquisition. With his experience as an entrepreneur and training as a chemical engineer, Antoine is now taking on the challenge of solving the problem of renewable energy storage. During his research at the University of Cambridge, he focused on refining heterogeneous catalysis processes. He uses these skills to lead product development at Efuels Technologies, which relies on a 3D-printed catalyst that converts hydrogen into SNG.
